Guillermo
Schible is a junior associate with Polten & Hodder. Guillermo
obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University (Political
Science) and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Osgoode Hall Law School
(2004) before being called to the Ontario Bar in 2005. Guillermo
articled at a civil litigation boutique in downtown Toronto and then
practiced civil litigation at a full-service firm before joining
Polten & Hodder in 2006. He now concentrates on
corporate-commercial litigation (securities litigation,
officer-director liability, shareholder disputes, employment
litigation).
Guillermo is a
founding member of Latin American Students at Osgoode (LASO) and of
the Hispanic Ontario Lawyers Association (HOLA), serving as first
Chair and first Vice-President of these organizations,
respectively. He currently serves as Vice-President to the Toronto
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and as Vice-Chair of the Community
Action Program at the Toronto Board of Trade. He is Executive
Vice-President of his Provincial Riding Association of choice and
Vice-President, Policy, of his Federal Riding Association of choice.
Guillermo is
fluently bilingual in English and Spanish.
